Who you will meet
Ada and Martha run the shop
Gallery One is a small, owner-run framing studio and art gallery on Millwood Avenue in Winchester. Walk in and you will be working with Ada or Martha, the two people who run the store.
For 40+ years the shop has framed what people bring through the door: heirloom dolls, service medals, diplomas, handwritten letters, needlework and team keepsakes. Most of these pieces are one of a kind, so every job starts with a conversation at the counter about what the piece is and how you want it to look.
They love the unusual requests. If you are not sure what is possible, bring it in and ask.

The salon wall
A little of everything we frame
Every piece on this wall came through our door. Scroll, and watch each one settle into place.

Also framed here: needlework, finished corner frames, and work by local artists in the gallery.

It all starts at the sample wall
Corner samples held up against your piece, mats laid side by side, and someone who knows the craft right beside you.
